The Barn, made of Cotswold stone, sits in the gardens of Bridge House, parts of which date back to the 17th Century. Whilst the interior has been modernized and refurbished for its guests, it still retains much of it’s period charm and character. Take a 5 minute walk into the bustling town of Lechlade or take a stroll along the banks of the River Thames or one of the many public footpaths into the glorious Cotswold countryside.

Make The Barn ‘home from home’ whether you opt for a totally self catered break or a bespoke fully catered stay. The Barn is the perfect place for couples, families or groups of friends from which they can explore the Cotswolds or simply to relax. Versatility is what makes The Barn unique. Let us know what you want and we’ll do our best to provide it.

The light and spacious accommodation at The Barn has an open plan sitting room with TV, DVD player and piano for our more musical guests to enjoy. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. A breakfast bar and adjoining dining area makes for relaxed dining or a wonderful setting for that special occasion.

Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms both with sumptuous bed linen. There is a family room with kingsize bed and twin beds which sleeps 4 and a double room. For the much younger guests we can offer the use of a travel cot. The bathroom has a power shower, wc and basin and each of our guests is provided with a luxurious bale of towels.

If you’re looking for a cosy night in then we have everything you could need, from DVDs, books and games to a cupboard full of toys to entertain the children.

There’s a beautiful garden in which to sit and relax, or for the more energetic, why not play some badminton on the lawn or shoot some hoops whilst the children enjoy the netted trampoline. If the weather’s fine and you want to dine al fresco then make use of the gas BBQ and the outside dining area.

Should you wish to leave the cooking behind then indulge yourself with an in-house chef who will cater to your needs whether it’s fine dining, healthy meals or picnic hampers for days out we can organise just about anything!
